At the start of the iaf, Wolfgang R. Fally, CEO of Robel Bahnbaumaschinen GmbH, handed over the world’s first hybrid milling train to Thomas Blechinger, President & CEO of Plasser American. A large number of trade fair visitors followed the handover under a blue and white sky, ceremoniously accompanied by a delegation from the Robel factory band from Freilassing in Bavaria.<\/p>\n

ROMILL Urban E\u00b3 is the first product for rail treatment from the cooperation of the Robel Group, optimized for use in subways with hybrid drive, milling and finishing technology from Schweerbau International and comprehensive measuring equipment from Vogel & Pl\u00f6tscher.<\/p>\n

Wolfgang R. Fally: \u201cWe are very proud to be able to hand over the first milling train for environmentally friendly and economical processing of urban rail systems to our American partners. ROMILL Urban is proof of a fruitful collaboration between track construction specialists. My special thanks therefore also go to Frank Mevert from Schweerbau International and Rolf Herter from Vogel & Pl\u00f6tscher, whose innovative developments make a significant contribution to the performance of this new machine.\u201d<\/p>\n
